Okay people, 24 hours and counting, just a few things to consider:

Check your local event page for timings, location, etc – we’ve had a few last-minute alterations, including a plan for making a “human flag” at the Sheffield event starting at 10:30am. If you’re going to this one, wear BLUE and if you have a yellow shirt bring it with you too!

Bring banners, placards, be creative and keep them clean please! Doesn’t have to be a work of art, some of the best ones we’ve seen have been made out of pizza boxes or just a bit of card on a stick!

We want this to be an inclusive event for all – come in peace, love and harmony and you will be welcomed.

Our budget for this is, let’s say, “minimal”. Don’t expect miracles! We have speakers coming to some events, but YOU are the main event. Bring your own ideas for songs and chants and dress to impress (if you want to!) This is for the people, by the people.

If you can, bring food and drink from every corner of Europe – baguettes to bratwurst, kielbasa to kapustnica, pizza to pork pies, to share with your fellow people. Let’s make this a celebration of all things European (including British of course!)

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, and if anyone is keen to assist in any way and can make it to the start early PLEASE get in touch via your respective local event – we don’t have a large organisation behind this, all help will be greatly received.

Lastly, if you need any inspiration for slogans, chants, etc please take a look at this video from the 2nd July march in London organised by the March For Europe team – we’re hoping for a repeat of this tomorrow, see you there!
